Intro to Intervention

The aim of this section of the module is to 'intervene' with my chosen area. (hence the title). My chosen area (TV screen in town) had plenty of scope for me to add or change the environment in such a way that it would change the way the 'general public' would react or respond to that specific area.


My first idea was to walk around the open area in front of the TV with a camera in front of me filming the way I walked around. this would then be played on the TV or projected up on a wall. however, after deep deep thought, I changed my idea completely.


I came across my inspiration after walking down to the TV area and i thought i could get someone else to film me walking around 'getting in peoples way' or so to speak. this was then trumped when i thought I could make a really good scence without disturbing too many people. i choose for someone to film me walking up to the TV and then me sitting down in front of the TV for a number of minutes and see what the reaction was from the public.
