Alain's Idat : The Making

I used a Panasonic HD camera, the video quality, along with sound quality was amazing. however, saying this there were issues replicating this quality onto a computer. Taking the file off the camera as a .m2ts file was easy enough, but then I had to convert that into an .avi file by some means of wizardry. quicktime/media player couldn't find the codec for this so i then tried and converted it into a .mp4 format which media player was able to export it to the file extension of .mov. I believe that because i changed file formats several times i lost quality throughout. This was evident when i was produced the movie and also when broadcasting it on Youtube.
I used Adobe Premiere to construct the film. Although it is a very capable and very professional piece of software, I am not a very capable and very professional film producer so the end result was fairly 'novice'.
